On day 7 I focused on middle splits, forearm stands, over splits, upper back and shoulders.
I had a really good lesson coming my way on day 7. I had a lot of work to do and thought [I need to do this quick] and so I tried reviewing every move quickly. What I found was I couldn't do anything, my shoulder was hurting and I was tense. So I look back at my previous videos and I say to myself [What am I doing so different?] I then realized in the videos, where I could actually do the move, I was moving very slowly, breathing heavily, and closing my eyes. I was taking my time, focusing on relaxing my muscles and easing into every move. I then tried again, warming up slowly, taking my time with every move and before you know it I can do all the moves but even better than before.
The lesson I learned on Day 7 was breath, relax, focus and take your time or it will take you more time in the long run.
